In the 30 years Sheldon has been in business, they have trained over 1,000 dogs. They know how to awaken and encourage the instincts that will make your dog an effective bird dog, one that works willingly for his handler. Sheldon's methods stress repetition. Training situations are controlled so that the dog makes few mistakes and is not subjected to endless corrections. Most dogs rapidly learn to enjoy these routines and respond willingly to the demands made upon them. When the dog is finished, he will respond to verbal commands; be steady to wing and shot; and retrieve on command to hand. Your dog will heel quietly on lead, and be controllable in and out of the field.
