Winner of the Amateur Shooting Dog Championship (front row, left) Sal Satallante with Paladela's California Jack (Jack; Ramona Calif Sonny x Paladela's Lillbit) and runner up Promise Keeper with Bruce Hale (Joe; Hale's Super Hero x Bold as Brass).Standing are judge Bill Gibbons, Ed Dixon (owner of Joe) and judge Jeff Gilbertson. Jack and Joe separated themselves from other dogs with great ground work and with multiple bird finds. Both dogs finished the hour strong and out in front of the handlers.


Sheldon Twer won all three placements in the Bill West Derby Open Classic All-Age. Sunset's Rogue wins The Bill West Derby Open Classic All-Age with a spectacular far reaching ground race, yet listened to Sheldon Twer its handler. Sunset's Rogue with Sam Madamba. Standing (from left) Bill Gibbons, Sheldon Twer and Bruce Hale. The perpetuate trophy goes to the winner and was kindly donated by Bill and Tamara Gibbons. The trophy consisted of Mearn's, Gamble's and Scaled quails, all native to Arizona.


Debbi Hansen celebrates Torben's birthday by serving him chocolate cup cakes. Camp was a place where people relaxed and simply enjoyed the great outdoors. Bird dog people are friendly and they seemed to have countless stories of field events and people.

Terry Erickson with Champion Prime View. Terry and Gerry Erickson have some of the best running English Setter in the country. Their dogs include Champion See Johnny Run. These setters are animated with tremendous desire to search and hunt birds in the likely areas.
