Bruce seems to always have styles bird dogs from Vizsla to Pointers. He helped to organized and start the Vizsla National Organization.

Ed Dixon's Pointer, Promise Keeper (Joe) is handled by the scout after a well mannered bird find. Ed's young derby dog did wonderful and Joe's bird work exhibit excellent style. This part of the course is tight with rolling hills and steep canyons. It takes a sharp eye to find a bird dog on point in this terrain.

Ed Dixon finds the bird that Joe pointed. Ed's knowledge and time spent training his bird dogs pay dividends during the trial. Joe placed 2nd in the Amateur Shooting Dog Championship.

The grounds coursed through a long valley with sloping hills, draws and big canyons. A bird dog must be seen by a judge to be considered finishing the course.
